You can't beat the location (5 min walk to Mahabodi temple), but otherwise it's dilapidated, outdated, grimy and manned by a brusque and unfriendly staff. Flies everywhere. Local touts tend to hijack tourists from other hotels to bring them here. It's not an awful place, but just know what you're getting into.

Smelly rooms, dark and dim corridor and dishonest management. Place wasn’t even properly maintained. The room reek with a damp smell. No heating during winter and night was cold and uncomfortable. No Ac or WiFi signal in room. Left as soon as I got another place. Just a few door down with almost similar pricing you can find a much better hotel.

Yes the location is close to MahaBodhi and Tibetan Temples, they are a 2 minute walk, this is the best aspect. Great wi-fi If you want a room with a window there will be street noise. If you want a quiet room, there will be no natural light as the window looks at a brick wall an arms length away. Ask for what you want the gentlemen are helpful. If you do not ask they will not clean or straighten the room while you stay. I filled a trash basket so I put out in the corner of the hallway, it took them 3 days to empty the trash in containers. Make sure to look at the room and smell the bathroom before choosing it. One room I went into had a moldy bathroom smell. I changed rooms to one that was clean and did not smell. i did have to take the top off the toilet after I flushed it to jiggle the plastic so it would stop running water. The breakfast is limited and made fresh, eggs and toast, or fruit.

Though a bit old, this hotel is very near the Mahabodhi Temple and it adds to its value. Fixed menu breakfast chosen by you is served in the room at your convenience. There are a lot of eateries and souvenir shops near by. advance booking is recommended as these hotels are in great demand. Spacious room and bath room. clean towels and sheets.
